Mix and Match

In the Gallery:
January 23 - March 20, 2010

Reception:
Saturday, January 23,  5 - 7 p.m.

Renowned artists; Sandra Perlow and Darrell Roberts share one thing in common; their use of primary colors, but that is where the similarity begins and ends. Perlow's canvases are filled with brightly colored organic shapes and mixed media collage, while Roberts' small, colorful relief paintings are covered with lush, thick brush strokes which push the limits of the canvas. This exhibition will certainly brighten those cold winter days.

Hinsdale Center for the Arts now provides Audio Description Service
Hinsdale Center for the Arts offers Audio Description as a free service for visually impaired visitors to the Center.  Audio Description provides accessibility of visual images for people who are blind or have low vision.  It is a narration service that describes what a sighted person takes for granted. In a visual arts setting the listener is guided by concise, objective descriptions of the art on display.  Shayne Kennedy, HCA's Audio Describer will be available during all upcoming HCA Gallery exhibitions. Please call Theresa Gimpel at 630-887-0203 for more information or to make a reservation.
