The creation of successful arts integration requires both teacher and artist to develop their understanding of the other’s world.  Artists expand the teacher’s knowledge of artistic process and technique, and in turn learn from teachers about the world of the school.

This arts integration workshop will:

• Explore the language of the arts and education, studying relationships, applying ideas, finding the balance between art forms and non-arts content.
• Experience the rigor and engagement of arts integrated practice
• Discover strategies and solutions for creating collaborations between artistic process and academic content
• Explore ways to make visible students’ creativity and learning
